The super thick dome glass in this "toll" style insulator adds to the appearance of the well saturated burgundy coloration!
Although dark burgundy examples are readily found in other California designs, the toll style, dark examples are fairly scarce.
Pinkie nail chip on lower wire ridge (at left). Remainder of insulator is very near mint.
