#1462      CD 162      H.G. CO.      PATENT MAY 2 1893.        Amber.

"Petticoat" embossing on the reverse was originally mis-spelled "Petticat."  Was re-engraved correctly, with the old mis-positioned "AT" still visible under the new lettering.

Nice "see through" amber coloration.

Drip point under the "May 2" embossing may appear damaged, but actually has a bubble within the drip point and did not completely fill out.  Nine drip points have partial flakes... most appearing completely intact, but on very close examination very small flakes can be detected.
