Description

#1503       CD 257       HEMINGRAY    NO 60 A      MADE IN U.S.A.     MAY 2 1893.        Hemingray blue.

This one has a whole lot going for it!  First off, it's a wide groove example in an attractive Hemi Blue coloration.  Secondly, it has the much scarcer "No 60A" marking.  Plus, there is earlier embossing blotted out on both mold halves.  Despite the blot outs, the "MAY" embossing is still "full strength," and the "2 1893" lettering is somewhat weakened, but still plainly visible.

A jewel in very near mint condition!
