Base embossed with the patent date for Samuel Oakman's method of forming threads in glass.
Some milky veils floating in the glass add a little character.
Half fingernail base flake (does not affect embossing). Other small surface blemishes including a match head flake with small adjoining abrasion, short-narrow scratch, another match head flake, couple pinhead flakes. All of the above mentioned blemishes are minor, and do little to affect the appearance.
