The ridges on the skirt were added to divert water that would normally drain onto the crossarm.
Attractive, teal toned, dark aqua.
Open bubble on lower portion of wire ridge (right of center in the photo) is index fingernail diameter. Minor blemishes on base of innermost skirt. Surface annealing line on side of dome.
All the above has little effect on the value or appearance of the insulator.
