#1945 Unmarked. "French Elephant" White porcelain.
A very unusually designed "dry spot" type insulator that resembles the trunk of an elephant.
Found on a building in France decades ago, still mounted on the original iron bracket.
A rather tall item, the insulator alone measures 6-1/4" tall. With bracket included it's 8-1/8" tall.
Outer portion of insulator remains excellent. The pin expanded somewhat with the metal rusting, the inner skirt separating some, with two pieces missing.
