A shade that falls between the two examples offered in Pole Top Discoveries event #2106 conducted in August 2021 (lots #1394 and #1395).
Amethyst tolls marked for the American Telephone & Telegraph Company were produced by various glass manufacturers. This heavy, bulkier style mold variant is much scarcer than the thinner, more refined mold variant.
Collectors have speculated whether these were made by the Baltimore Glass Manufacturing Company, or if they might have been made by Brookfield.
One match head flake on the reverse wire ridge is the only actual damage. Two match head bubbles on the inside edge of the base are open, but not at all flaked.
