#2078 735 TILLOTSON & CO. 16 BROADWAY N.Y. Light aqua.
A somewhat lighter color than is typical for this item. Produced in the middle 1860's for Tillotson & Company, a New York city based telegraph and railway supply company.
Most examples of the 735 Tillotson were used on the 1865 construction of the Collins Overland Telegraph line in British Columbia, Canada. However, this is one of the few that surfaced in the Troy, New York area decades ago.
Split in half (near the side mold lines) and glued back together. Otherwise, in very nice condition.
