#2154 CD 162 H.G. CO. PATENT MAY 2 1893. PETTICOAT. Bright peacock blue.
Excellent brightness in the glass. One must wonder if the same glass batches used to produce vivid blue lamps at the Hemingray Glass Company factory were also used in the production of these colorful insulators.
Many of the peacock blue HG Co signals currently in collections were recovered in Kansas, where they were used by numerous electric companies at various locations in the state.
Entire outside area is exceptional, with a smaller than pinhead size mark on the wire ridge! One drip point partially flaked. Paper thin, match head flake on inner skirt. In other words, it easily grades very near mint with these trivial blemishes.
