Description

#2349        CD 206.5     HARLOE'S PATENT     MAR 21. '99     MAR 12. '01     DEC 9, '02.     P 2 S.        HICO     HAWLEY PA  U.S.A.       4.      Aqua.

The large size Harloe patent insulator, which is much more difficult to locate than the smaller units.

The Harloe Insulator Company operated in Elmer, New Jersey for a very brief period of time, and then manufactured insulators in Hawley, Pennsylvania.  A limited number of designs were produced, the "Harloe" patented insulators among the rarest, and certainly the most desirable.

The top three "fingers" remain in fabulous condition!  A match head size, open base bubble has a shallow surface flake across it.  The insulator was popped in half at the mid-section and glued back together.  The seam can be seen running horizontally at the lower portion of the ears in the first photo.  It can be seen again in the second photo, at the mid-section of the "HI CO" logo on the reverse side.

Looks wonderful on the shelf!
