A rarely encountered item, with few known to exist. One or more are known to have come out of the old Whitall Tatum glass plant in Millville, N.J., possibly used as samples during the period of time that various experimentation with designs and glass batches was taking place.
Note the inward taper, upward from the base, and the well pronounced wire ridge formed below the wire groove.
Very near mint.
