Description

#2805       CD 143      CANADIAN. PACIFIC. RY. CO         Dark amethyst.

An insulator of Canadian manufacture, these "beehives" are commonly found in aquamarine glass. The purple units are most often deep shades, this medium purple unit being a fair amount scarcer.

These colourful insulators were produced for use along the Canadian Pacific Railway.  What a sight it must have been decades ago when thousands of the various purple beauties adorned poles.

A match head dome abrasion and just a little unnoticeable wire rubbing make it very near mint.  A beauty!

The contour of the rounded skirt makes the insulator appear weakly embossed.  However, the lettering is "full strength."

Buy-Now Price: $80.

BUY-NOW lots are subject to the normal 12% buyer premium, added to the Buy-Now price.

All lots in this event numbered #2792 and up are obtainable using two different purchase methods.  A bidder has the option of bidding on these lots at the current next raise as an auction item.  Or, you may make an instant purchase by clicking the "BUY-NOW" area, positioned just below the green "SUBMIT BID" button.

A reserve has been set on Buy-Now lots.  Once the reserve amount has been met, the Buy-Now option will no longer be available.

Buy-Now and auction purchases will be invoiced vie email by mid day Tuesday, January 31.  Invoices will also be viewable to purchasers on the auction site at that time by clicking the "MY ACCOUNT" tab on the upper portion of the auction page.
