Description

#3055      ?????        FOLEMBRAY    NO 366        Green

Height: 5-3/16 inches.  Base width: 5-1/4 inches.  Triple petticoat.

This one does not yet have a CD number.  A knowledgeable collector of international glass insulators advises this item will likely get a new CD number... to be determined.

The third largest in a set of four very similarly designed insulators being offered in this event.  Note the sharp, squared corners on the head and notch of these four earlier units, compared to designs with more rounded contours which followed in later years.

Small Folembray embossing is faint.  Larger, numeral embossing on reverse skirt is weakened, but is all readable.

A rare and attractive power glass insulator that remains very near mint.

CD 102 pony shown for size comparison not included in this lot.

From the Jim & Lis Bergman collection.
