Another highly unusual design from France... a "slash-top." The glass has nice clarity and is of high quality.
Lis Bergman, in her book on Folembray insulators, states this one is rare. Of special interest is the model numbering in the "500" series. Lis states: "This is the only (Folembray) insulator in the 500 numbering. There are other items in the 500 numbering, but they make up different categories other than insulators. They are accessories for the electrical industry including "serre-fils," accumulators, etc."
