#3203 U-??? (Bullers trademark) MADE IN ENGLAND White porcelain.
Height: 4-1/4 inches.
Insulators that were specially designed with oil reservoirs usually employ one of two methods. The first type is a one piece unit that has a skirt that curls under, forming a base and then extends further upward forming an interior reservoir. Another type is a normally shaped insulator that has a separate circular oil cup which rests below. This unit has an oil reservoir that includes a threaded portion which screws into the interior of the main insulator, thus two sections forming a whole unit. Quite an interesting design!
Bergman collection.
Main insulator is very near mint. Threaded insert has one area of shallow chipping on the very top spiral.
