WOW!!!!! WHAT A COLOR!!!!!!
This design is scarce in aqua, and rarely encountered in green. Even more impressive, is this dark olive beauty with amber impurities. This has to be the most impressive colored "Edison" that Pole Top Discoveries has ever offered. And, in all likelihood, it's the most impressive color for a CD 285 throughout the hobby!
This style insulator was offered in the 1902 C.S. Knowles Catalogue, and was possibly produced in one of the Elmer, New Jersey glasshouses.
Two shallow flakes on the base, each comprise an area perhaps half the size of a pinkie nail. Inner most petticoat has chipping half way around.
