Description

#3252       102        (Diamond).         Mustard.

Attractive colour in this Canadian pony style insulator with an embossed diamond on the skirt.

No olive toning in this one!  A true, pure mustard colour!

Mustard colouration is rarely found in any other type of insulator, resulting in a limited supply and great demand for these ponies.  Some were found in eastern Canada decades ago, but the majority were used on telephone lines in Alberta and Saskatchewan of western Canada.

UPDATE: 12:15 P.M. Thursday, October 5.

A condition report was mistakenly omitted in the initial listing.  Entire insulator is free of actual "damage."  In the first photo, the narrow, contrasting area at lower left dome area and the lower right skirt area are fully enclosed bubbles, not damage.  There are some wire rub marks on the reverse which are mostly small and minor.

Second photo (recent addition) shows a smaller than match head wire rub at very center of the lower wire ridge, and another wire rub to the left portion of the wire groove.  The left one is a little narrower than a pencil eraser diameter and a little longer.

Bright colour!
