#3266 CD 121 MC LAUGHLIN NO 16 Bright green.
Produced by the McLaughlin Glass Company in Vernon, California. A factory was constructed in 1920 by William McLaughlin at 52nd and Alameda Streets. Bottles were the primary product in the early years, and by the late 1920's insulators were added to the line of products made. The company ceased insulator production in 1935.
Various colors of glass were produced, including a wide range of green shades/tones. The toll style offered here has attractive brightness. The green glass has some yellow toning, and in comparison to the depression glass green CD 151 HG Co offered as Lot #3294, the McLaughlin is an attractive darker shade.
Match-head base flake removes one drip point. Otherwise, a sparkling, very near mint beauty!!!!
