Horizontal ridges above the wire groove. Two ridges spiral downward, left to right, from the wire ridge to the base.
Frederick Withycombe received patents in the US and Canada for various ridge configurations on insulators in 1899. These small beehive shaped units believed to have been produced in Canada.
Two areas of chipped ridges, each about the size of a fingernail, on opposite sides of the skirt. Otherwise the ridges remain in unusually excellent condition!
