#3354 CD 123 E.C&M CO S.F. Aqua with olive amber wisps.
Mold style "D" which is known among EC&M collectors as the "Tin Mold" or "Sheet Metal Mold" variant.
Height: four inches.
When the two mold halves became worn at the juncture point of an earlier "C" mold variant, the mold was reworked, which left raised bands at the mould juncture, and the "D" mold variant was born.
That raised area along the insulator mold seam strongly resembles the seams found on sheet metal work or tin work, thus the nicknames. That characteristic creates a crude, "old" appearance. Additionally, the entire surface has fine, "whittle marks," there are fine olive amber streaks and wisps throughout the glass, and small, milky white bubbles are scattered within. All of the above create special character in this jewel that's about 145 years old!
Spectacular condition! They don't get any better than this gem!
