Description

#3355         CD 123        E.C&M CO S.F.        Aqua with olive amber

"B" mold.    3-3/4" height.

Embossed EC&M insulators were used at numerous locations in the West during the 1870's.  While most have been recovered in California and Nevada, they have also surfaced in Hawaii, Arizona, Oregon, Utah, Washington and northward into British Columbia, Canada.

This "B" mold variant has the flat, squared dome profile and a well pronounced button on the reverse skirt.

An attractive amount of olive amber impurities are present in the skirt.

Has only one, very shallow, flake type chip (on the base, just to the left of the olive-amber impurity).  Otherwise, excellent!!!!
