Description

#3461        732       Unmarked        Aqua.

The 732 is one of several different “compromise” style insulators which were popular from the mid to late 1860’s.  The 732 is quite a lot scarcer than the unmarked 731, and has been found in limited areas.  The majority have surfaced in New York State, but fair size numbers have also been discovered in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Their range stretches as far east as Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

The glass has numerous bubbles and overall crudeness, creating an attractive "old" appearance.

Fingernail chip stays at the surface.  Diagonal fracture from base to dome, likely caused from an internal pot stone.  Portion of the surface is hazy.  Displays quite nicely!

Buy-Now Price: $210.

BUY-NOW lots are subject to the normal 12% buyer premium, added to the Buy-Now price.

Nearly all lots in this event are obtainable using two different purchase methods.  A bidder has the option of bidding on these lots at the current next raise as an auction item.  Or, you may make an instant purchase by clicking the "BUY-NOW" area, positioned just below the green "SUBMIT BID" button.

A reserve has been set on Buy-Now lots.  Once the reserve amount has been met, the Buy-Now option will no longer be available.

Buy-Now and auction purchases will be invoiced via email by mid day Wednesday, October 25.  Invoices will also be viewable to purchasers on the auction site at that time by clicking the "MY ACCOUNT" tab on the upper portion of the auction page.
