Description

#3471       CD 127     W. U. PATTERN.       L.A.C.'S  PAT  JULY 25TH  1865.     4.       Aqua.

An 1870's item which is believed to possibly have been manufactured in the Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania area.

The large, well pronounced "W. U. PATTERN" embossing encircles the skirt.   The engraver ran out of room for all the lettering on the front mold half, so the last two letters "RN" are positioned on the reverse skirt.  Large numeral "4" on the button top.

Check out the abundance of dome glass!

An impact above the "T" has resulted in an internal fracture that extends from the right mold line to the area above the "U" (see red arrows in second photo).  A surface chip the size of a 25¢ coin at center, below the wire groove (outlined with white dots in second photo).

Buy-Now Price: $150.

BUY-NOW lots are subject to the normal 12% buyer premium, added to the Buy-Now price.

Nearly all lots in this event are obtainable using two different purchase methods.  A bidder has the option of bidding on these lots at the current next raise as an auction item.  Or, you may make an instant purchase by clicking the "BUY-NOW" area, positioned just below the green "SUBMIT BID" button.

A reserve has been set on Buy-Now lots.  Once the reserve amount has been met, the Buy-Now option will no longer be available.

Buy-Now and auction purchases will be invoiced via email by mid day Wednesday, October 25.  Invoices will also be viewable to purchasers on the auction site at that time by clicking the "MY ACCOUNT" tab on the upper portion of the auction page.
