Description

#3480       CD 185      HEMINGRAY    NO 95       Aqua.

Sharp drip points.

A specially designed insulator with a through pinhole, fashioned for use in mines where water seepage created challenges for insulating wires.   This design was patented in 1895 by David Osyor.  The through pinhole allowed for a specially designed pin to drain water, which otherwise would have accumulated in the upper portion of the insulator.

Drip points remain in remarkable condition, with no chips or flakes.  Bruise starts at base corner and goes upward, into the front skirt (length shown with red arrows).  Very similar bruise on reverse skirt.  Other than the two bruises, it remains in remarkable condition.

Buy-Now Price: $110

BUY-NOW lots are subject to the normal 12% buyer premium, added to the Buy-Now price.

Nearly all lots in this event are obtainable using two different purchase methods.  A bidder has the option of bidding on these lots at the current next raise as an auction item.  Or, you may make an instant purchase by clicking the "BUY-NOW" area, positioned just below the green "SUBMIT BID" button.

A reserve has been set on Buy-Now lots.  Once the reserve amount has been met, the Buy-Now option will no longer be available.

Buy-Now and auction purchases will be invoiced via email by mid day Wednesday, October 25.  Invoices will also be viewable to purchasers on the auction site at that time by clicking the "MY ACCOUNT" tab on the upper portion of the auction page.
