Description

#3538        CD 154        ZICME         Icy gray with impurities.

Produced at a glass factory in Colombia which was operated by Solomon Zundel.  The insulators created at the factory were made in hand operated presses, so some of them can be crudely formed.  Both unembossed and "Zicme" embossed CD 154 units were produced.  A wide variety of colorful glass was created, so an attractive color run of insulators produced at the factory can be assembled.

Carbon veils within the glass create attractive character, as does a multitude of microscopic bubbles, creating a semi-opaque, jade-like appearance.

An especially nice example, remaining in very near mint+ condition.
