#3572 CD 164 H.G. CO. PATENT MAY 2 1893 Dark green.
Generally speaking, the extra deep groove CD 164 H.G. Co. signal is quite a lot harder to find in an “exotic” color than their smaller CD 162 cousins. Comparatively speaking, the colorful 164’s are an underrated item.
The green examples can be found in several different shades/tones, this one having far less olive toning than some. The true green glass is infiltrated with subtle amber impurities.
Flake on outer base corner is a little larger than a wooden match head, grazing a portion of two drip points. Entire remainder of insulator is sparkling, shiny, very, very near mint condition.
