#3598 CD 10 Unmarked. Light aqua.
Battery rest with waffle pattern on top. Width: 2 inches.
Communication with a very knowledgeable expert on battery rests reveals the first known report on a public forum of an unmarked CD 10 was in 2005. A few years later, one with an embossed star marking appeared. This is the third known example to be discovered. There could possibly be others in collections, but regardless, it's quite a rarity, and a key piece for a CD collector or battery rest collector.
Glass surface has a slight rainbow iridescence. Thin, very narrow (1/8 inch) flake on very bottom of umbrella is 5/8" in length.
