Ears measure 2-11/16 across.
Similar to the previous lot, but this one is porcelain and slightly smaller in size. Another French oddity.
Two examples of this type insulator were sold through Pole Top Discoveries' Event #2204 in October, 2022. This one is similar to Lot #2469 in that event, except the skirt on this one is straighter.
The second photo depicts illustrations from an old Parvillee Freres & Cie (Parvillee Brothers & Company) Catalogue, showing various configurations of the "wing nut" type insulator.
