#3655 CD 130 CAL ELEC WORKS. PATENT. Aqua.
Produced for the California Electrical Works of San Francisco, California, a telegraph and electrical supply company which was created in 1877. Various products were offered by the company including insulators. This design, along with the CD 130.1 and the CD 120 were marked with the company identification.
An extra nice condition example! A small nick can be seen coming downward on the lower wire ridge (red arrow - second photo). A smaller, joining flake on the upper portion of that ridge at same location... quite minor. So much nicer than most examples.
