Description

#3659        CD 196      H.G. CO.       PAT MAY 2 1893.       Aqua.

Large impressive "umbrella" design.  A single piece transposition insulator, produced by the Hemingray Glass Company, known as the "Perfect Transposition" at the time of manufacture.

Third image depicts a page from the 1910 Electric Appliance Company catalogue.

Bruise on upper umbrella with no glass missing, positioned above six drip points (see left of center in second photo).  Remainder is very near mint.
