#3664 CD 162 H.G. CO. PATENT MAY 2 1893. PETTICOAT. Medium purple.
Produced by the Hemingray Glass Company.
A rather scarce color for a H.G. Co. signal in comparison to most amber and blue shades and hues. An attractive small grouping of variations within the purple family can be assembled, this being about in the middle of the various color densities.
Paper thin, match head flake on the wire ridge. A few minor pinhead or slightly larger marks on the dome. Drip points remain in great condition, with only one partially flaked!
Update 9:20 A.M. Wednesday, January 24. Third and fourth images added, showing the small surface blemishes on side of dome. Remaining blemishes are out of sight on dome top, and smaller than those shown.
