#3665 CD 162 H.G. CO. PATENT MAY 2 1893. PETTICOAT. Bright peacock blue.
Rich, dark, extra bright qualities in this beauty go beyond what is often seen in peacock blue signals. The thicker than average dome glass helps to magnify the attractiveness even further. If you are looking for a special example, this is certainly a candidate.
The peacock blue signals produced by the Hemingray Glass Company pre-date most or all of the cobalt blue embossed "Hemingray" examples, and generally speaking, they are also much scarcer.
Although used in various areas, most have been recovered in the state of Kansas.
Six drip points have partial flakes that appear complete or nearly so from the outside. Remainder of insulator is very near mint.
Excellent clarity in the glass!
