#3703-A CD 130 CAL ELEC WORKS. PATENT. Bright aqua.
Produced for the California Electrical Works of San Francisco, California, a telegraph and electrical supply company which was created in 1877. Various products were offered by the company including insulators. This design, along with the CD 130.1 and the CD 120 were marked with the company identification.
The glass has especially attractive clarity and richness, making it a standout in a group California Electrical insulators.
The extra thick dome glass adds to the beauty of this sparkling jewel. Aside from one small chip on the lower wire ridge (see white dots in second photo), the insulator remains in nearly flawless condition! A sparkling, shiny gem that remains in far nicer condition than most CD 130 examples!!!
