An attractive and desirable color that's a cross between lavender and cornflower blue, unique to glass produced in the Denver, Colorado area. Produced at the Western Flint Glass Company factory in Valverde, Colorado. The company was formed in 1899 after a fire damaged a glass plant operated by Robert Good at the same location. Examples of tolls produced at W.F.G. appear in colors mostly unique to this factory, and are eagerly sought by collectors.
Very crude glass surface, with numerous folds and creases make this example especially attractive and desirable. Additionally, a fully enclosed, one inch bubble hovers inside the reverse wire ridge.
Nice dome glass, nice character, nice color and very near mint condition make it a welcome addition to any collection.
