The glass is loaded with thousands of microscopic bubbles which show to much greater advantage with top or bottom lighting. A tall example, measuring 4-5/8 inches in height.
Produced for the California Electrical Works of San Francisco, California, a telegraph and electrical supply company which was created in 1877. Various products were offered by the company including insulators. This design, along with the CD 130.1 and the CD 120 were marked with the company identification.
Second image shows a small portion of the thousands of micro bubbles within the glass.
Shallow, pinkie nail chip on dome top. Flake on reverse wire ridge is smaller than pencil eraser diameter. Otherwise, both wire ridges in super condition! Light and dark areas seen on ridges are not damage (enclosed bubbles and reflections).
Great looking example with character!
