There is some variation of color in this type insulator, this one having blue influences.
A small group of insulator types were produced using the 1883 Brooke's threading method. These examples include the CD 109 and 135 Chicago and other types embossed with either "Brooke's" or "Pat App For" including CD 120, 125 and 133.1.
A small white pot stone (half the size of a rice grain) is located just under the surface, at far right. A halo bruise surrounds it (see far right in photo below wire groove). Aside from the in-the-making pot stone halo, there's not actual damage.
