Base embossed.
Fibrous, opaque impurities sparkle inside the glass, similar in appearance to fine strands of fiberglass... adding attractive character.
A large and impressive power glass insulator that stands over 6" tall! Some examples were used on the mass transit system in the Boston area.
This type insulator can be found with embossing variations. This one lacks the skirt embossed patent dates.
Open, very shallow blister on base corner. Remainder of insulator is very near mint. Light colored, oval area at left center of base/skirt in photo is a fully enclosed bubble, not damage.
