#3702-B EC&M type bracket on tree section.
Height 26 inches.
An old EC&M type bracket with partial original read paint on the threaded portion. Mounted to a tree section with long, tapered, early period nails. Great surface texture on the bracket, and incredible gnarly character on the tree!
This wood rarity adds great diversity and visual appeal to a collection of EC&M's. Aqua EC&M's can be purchased anytime, but only on rare occasions do such fine examples of early wood appear for sale.
Originally a choice, historical item in the Pat & Shirley Patocka collection, it was sold in Pole Top Discoveries' March, 2010 auction when a sizable portion of the Patocka collection was offered to collectors. If you missed it 14 years ago, here's your second chance! The opening bid in this sale is a mere fraction of the winning bid amount realized in the 2010 auction.
