An impressive cable top insulator from Mexico. A darker companion to the previous lot. An interesting tidbit of information about the 214's found in Mexico... rather than being used on wooden poles, they were placed on poles made of railroad rails! Imagine climbing an iron pole to retrieve them!
Index fingernail surface chip on inner skirt. Flat, middle fingernail chip on underside of wire ridge (see far right in photo). The "Telegrafos" side displays fine with a light surface flashover, down from the wire groove.
