#3818 CD 249 HEMINGRAY NO 0. PROVO TYPE (1899 date) Dark aqua.
Large, impressive power glass with big, bold embossing.
These were recovered from a power line in southwestern Pennsylvania.
Most examples have varying degrees of damage, typically more so than this example.
Glass surface is a little hazy. Hemingray side displays with no damage. Provo side has a shallow, flake-type chip below the saddle groove, 2/3 the size of a dime coin. Shallow flake on the skirt, up from the base, the size of a 5¢ coin.
