"B" mold with 4-1/16" height.
Olive amber EC&M’s have been discovered along the routes of two communication lines operated by the Nevada & California Telegraph Company. One was between Austin and Battle Mountain, Nevada and the other between Aurora and Candelaria, Nevada.
They have surfaced in both the “B” and “H” mold variants. In the middle to late 1960’s several olive amber examples were still in service on the Austin to Battle Mountain route, much to the delight of early day collectors!
Variation in color toning exists in these scarce beauties, this being a fair amount more amber toned than some.
Exceptional condition! The sharp base edge has only minimal (mostly pinhead size) flakes from excess glass removal. No actual damage from use on the entire insulator!!!!! A beauty
