#3238 CD 133.4 PATENT DEC 19 1871. 3 A Aqua.
A huge bubble, measuring approximately 1-1/4" x 2-3/4," dominates the front of this "bullet" style, early Hemingray insulator.
Oddities, including bubbles in the glass, are currently in big demand with insulator collectors. Few examples exist with such huge air pockets! And, the bubble is strategically positioned directly below the embossing. Completely enclosed on the exterior, and open to the inside, pinhole area.
"Over-poured," extended base adds even more character.
Very near mint.
