#3333 CD 252 HEMINGRAY NO 2 CABLE PAT. MAY 2ND 1893. Dark aqua with amber.
Blot out on front skirt appears to be an attempt to remove an earlier "Knowles Cable Insulator" engraving.
Amber impurities are streaked through the majority of the insulator, creating quite an attractive, overall green appearance. Portions of the ears are blue aqua, contrasting nicely with the remainder of the insulator.
Compare the lack of availability of this colorful jewel to the green CD 252 Knowles units, and you will recognize the true value and desirability of these seldom encountered beauties.
The sharp drip points remain in spectacular condition! Overall, very near mint+ condition.
