#094 CD 162 HG CO. PATENT MAY 2 1893. PETTICOAT. Bright peacock blue. Sharp drip points.
The glass formula at the Hemingray plant was properly mixed on the day this jewel was produced! There is excellent clarity and exceptional brightness in the glass. One must wonder if the same glass batches used to produce vivid blue lamps were also used in the production of these colorful insulators. Many of the peacock blue HG Co signals currently in collections were recovered in Kansas, where they were used by numerous electric companies at various locations in the state.
Exceptional very, very near mint condition!
Dick Bowman collection.
