#097 CD 162 H.G .CO. PATENT MAY 2 1893 PETTICOAT. Dark royal purple. Sharp drip points.
An especially attractive color for an HG Co signal. Similar in appearance to the royal purple coloration found in some types of Canadian insulators such as the darker purple Canadian Pacific beehives. Limited numbers have been found, mostly in Kansas.
No damage found on the drip points, which is a rare occurrence! Pencil eraser diameter, shallow nick on edge of the inner skirt. Otherwise, very near mint+
