#1683 CD 162 H.G. CO. PATENT MAY 2 1893 Light pink.
An exceptionally rare color for a H.G. Co. signal! Perhaps only the second example we have offered for sale in the past four and one half decades!
High quality glass with excellent clarity and richness. Possibly produced from extra glass used in a production run of lamps or other high quality products at the Hemingray factory.
Long time signal collectors will recognize this item as a highly desirable item. Older, transition style embossing with the “rocking horse 2” lettering.
From the late Charlie Allmon collection. Charlie’s notes state: “Conversion mold signal. Very rare. Another keeper from the Mike Bruner collection.”
The best of both worlds.... rare color and wonderful, very near mint+ condition!
