#2008 CD 145 H.G. CO. PETTICOAT. Medium amber.
Mould letter “K.”
High collector demand and scarcity in color make this item quite desirable. Most were found on communication lines along the Great Northern Railway route in western Montana, northern Idaho and eastern Washington. However, amber H.G. beehives are also known to have been used in the Denver, Colorado area as well as along one or more railroads in Missouri.
A very attractive example with no flaking in the front wire groove. Reverse has a very shallow flake above the wire groove, slightly larger than a wooden match head. Another is a little smaller than half pinkie nail size. Match head bubble on the base edge is open to the outside. Overall, a sharp looking example that's nicer condition than most!
