#2280 CD 257 HEMINGRAY PATENT JUNE 17 1890 MAY 2 1893. Light electric blue.
The coloration is similar to the regular electric blue "mice," but a lighter shade, having somewhat of an attractive turquoise appearance. The white, crinkly impurities inside the glass are also quite similar to that found in the darker examples.
There are far fewer examples in this color than the darker units. The ratio is probably only one light to every 15 of the darker type.
Brightly colored glass with excellent clarity.
Two chips, both fingernail size. One on the outer skirt surface and one on the inner surface. Both have partially flaked glass from three drip points. Both were expertly resin repaired in the past, and could easily go undetected. Hard to see, faint bruise affects four drip points beneath "Hemingray."
BUY-NOW option was removed once the reserve was met.
