A very scarce color for this item!
The Duquesne Glass Company operated a glass factory in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area for a period of time in the early 1900's. They produced a limited number of communication style insulators, including this pony design which is generally referred to by collectors as the "peak top" Duquesne.
Examples of CD 106.1 were used in limited numbers, primarily in western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio.
Never been cleaned... still retains rust and soot in the wire groove.
